Breast cysts

Breast cysts are rare, usually solitary may be multiple or in both breasts. Commonly benign.

Pathophysiology is blockage in duct system leading to retention cyst.

Present as lump in breast usually at age of 30 to 40 years.

Diagnosed on ultrasound and confirmed on aspiration. If blood stain then may be cyst adenocarcinoma ?.

Treatment is aspiration. Excision if blood stain or residual mass persist after aspiration.

Inj. SKL After aspiration apply Inj. SKL. This will completely subside post aspiration discomfort or pain and prevent its recurrence.
