External urinary meatal stenosis

Causes Congenital Commonly seen in cases of hypospadias of distal penile, coronal or glandular type. Acquired due to trauma to meatus, e.g. post circumcision or operation through urethra or prolong catheterization.

Presentation Opening may be pin-point leading to difficulty in micturition, or chronic back pressure leading to hydroureter, hydronephrosis.
